Ballroom Rental Rates:
Friday or Sunday $1000*.

Ballroom rates include set-up, dining ware, stemware, flatware, cake
cutting, and white or cream linens. If you choose to offer a bar
service, the set-up fee is $75.
Wedding Policies
Hours: Wedding reception hours are between 11am and
11pm, with a maximum reception time of 5 hours.
Bar Service: All bar services are subject to a
$75.00 bar set up fee. Village by the Sea offers a variety of bar
service options. Your choices include a cash bar, open bar, or a
combination of both. If you choose to have an open bar of any kind a
20% gratuity will be added, and payment will be due at the end of
your reception. Last call will be given 30 minutes prior to the end
of your reception.
Deposits
& Payments: A non refundable & non-transferable $1700.00
deposit is required when booking your wedding reception with Village
by the Sea. Six months prior to your reception, a second deposit of
$1500.00 is required. Guaranteed guest counts and final payment are
due 14 days prior to your reception date. All deposits are
non-refundable and non-transferable.
Tax & Service Charge: Current Maine Rooms and
Meals Tax and
a 20% Service Charge will be added to all food, bar and beverage services.
Minimum of 75 guests for all weddings.
Group Room Block: Upon your request Village by the Sea would be
happy to establish a group room block at a discounted rate. We will
hold 10 suites without a deposit. The unrented rooms will be
released 30 days (60 days in peak season) prior to your event. Rooms
must be confirmed by your guests before the release date to be
guaranteed. Based on availability after the release date.
Check In/Check Out: Check In time is 3pm. Check out
time is 10am.
Security: Security will be provided for all evening
receptions to ensure safety and enforce all Village by the Sea
polices. Quiet hours are from 11pm to 8am, and must be observed by
all guests.
